I loved it maybe make the camp sites less dusty and add showers due to the amount of dust we were filthy by the time we left

We go here every year. The camp host Shannon went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

Great little campground tucked just off the 5 fwy. The exit has a Chevron gas station & Subway as well. Campsites are well shaded & spaced apart. Friendly & helpful host on site. Stayed here as my halfway up (& back) the coast. Outer sites (like mine) have cautious cliff views of the lake (no water access as stated). Would def stay here again.

We reserved a dry camp site. I should have done more research; there was only pit toilets (they were clean). It was also not very shady - we went on 90 degree day. Finally I reserved a jet ski for $500. My wife got sick due to heat the day before the rental but I got no money back. Was told I would have needed to cancel 2 weeks in advance. That’s the policy and I guess u should have known but seems pretty consumer unfriendly to me - even 100 bucks back would have been nice. Finally nearest water access is a 29 minute drive on a completely exposed and muddy beach. Just be aware.
