Campground offers 8 spacious pull-through campsites with room for large
vehicles and trailers. Each campsite has a picnic tables, fire ring, two horse
corrals (10' X 10"), and potable water hookup.

Roads and spurs are gravel, and as such may not be level. Campground amenities
include accessible flush toilets, hot showers, hitch rack and potable drinking
water. Campsites are only available by advanced reservation through
Recreation.gov; First come, first served sites are NOT available.

visitors with access to hundreds of miles of terrain for exploration and
enjoyment.

Horseback riding and mountain biking are popular activities. The 5.3-mile
Sawmill Trail begins within the campground and traverses an old road with
2,220 feet of elevation gain. It also intersects with the Cactus Spring Trail
near the campground's parking area.  
  
Bountiful botanical species exist along the trail, providing scenic views for
travelers.

The campground offers less than a dozen large, single-family campsites for
both tent or RV camping. Each is equipped with tables and campfire rings with
grills. Accessible flush toilets, showers and drinking water are provided, and
campsites each have access to two horse corrals and hitching racks.

California, at an elevation of about 4,000 feet. It is nestled in a chaparral

Pinyon Flat Campground (San Bernardino National Forest)

Pinyon Flat is an 18-site first-come first-served campground located within
the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. Surrounded by a
tranquil desert landscape and nearby Santa Rosa Wilderness Area, this
campground is great for those who like to hike, especially when the springtime
flowers are in bloom.

Pinyon Trail 5E03 is located on the western side of the campground.

<p>Pinyon Flat is an 18-site first-come first-served campground located within the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. Surrounded by a tranquil desert landscape and nearby Santa Rosa Wilderness Area, this campground is great for those who like to hike, especially when the springtime flowers are in bloom.</p><p><a href="https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/sbnf/recarea/?recid=26481" rel="nofollow">Pinyon Trail 5E03</a> is located on the western side of the campground.</p>

found at developed campgrounds. Water is available only at Santa Rosa Spring
Yellow Post Site 3 & 4, the only restroom is located near Yellow Post Sites 10
- 14.  Trash services are not provided, please pack it in - pack it out! All
sites are first-come, first-served.

Campfires and Briquette are currently prohibited, propane or similar stoves
with a functioning on/off switch are allowed.

Campfire permits are required for any type of fire use - campfires, charcoal
BBQ's, or propane or liquid fuel stoves.  
  
These Yellow Post Sites are reached via Forest Road 7S02 (Santa Rosa Truck
Trail). 7S02 is an unpaved road which may not be suitable for all vehicles.

area has 6 remote camping sites. They offer isolated scenic locations ideal
for tent and car camping or a relaxing picnic. Other than a metal pit for
campfires, these sites do NOT contain the amenities found at developed
campgrounds. There is no water, no restrooms nearby, and no trash containers.
Please pack it in - pack it out!

OHV Road 6S22 is 6 miles long, runs from Tripp Flats Road to the Red Mountain
Fire Lookout. Current Vehicle registration or green/red sticker required and
