Black Rock Campground has 20 first come walk-in tent sites near the lake. The

The Feather River Ranger District manages 8 family campgrounds around Little
Grass Valley Reservoir. There are approximately 323 camping units. Campsites
in Red Feather, Running Deer, Little Beaver parts of Loop A & B and the
southern half of Wyandotte, and Horse Camp may be reserved through
www.recreation.gov (1-877-444-6777) All other campgrounds are available on a
first-come, first server basis.

Each campground has piped water. Trailer sites are available, as well as walk-
in tent campsites. Trailers of up to 40 feet can be accommodated in some of
the camping units. No hookups are provided. There are 2 RV dump stations, one
near Tooms Boat Launch, and one near Red Feather.  Facilities are usually open
from Memorial Day to October.

link features of the South Fork Feather River system with Lake Oroville.
Scenic vistas, watchable wildlife, and historic mining sites are in immediate
or close proximity to the facility. Operations are seasonal due to winter
snow, and delayed openings may result from late snow.

There is plentiful wildlife including bear, deer, squirrel, songbirds, bald

Campsites are equipped with tables and campfire rings with grills. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Utility hookups are not available and all sites have paved parking spurs. Trash collection bins are available throughout the campground.<h2>Natural Features</h2>
The campground is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada Mountains of northern California at an elevation of about 5,000 feet. It is adjacent to the Little Grass Valley Reservoir, which was formed by flooding in the 1960s. The campground and the lake are surrounded by thick stands of pine and fir trees.

There are multiple campgrounds located around the lake as well as cabins on the south side. The campground is also the center of a popular snowmobiling area during winter months.

About 12 miles northeast of the lake lies a small, natural lily pond, called Fowler Lake. It sits at an altitude of 5,446 feet and is a beautiful sight.<h2>Charges & Cancellations</h2>

have been issued.)  Local managers are committed to the health and safety of
recreational visitors and our staff.  We are following the guidelines from our
department and the CDC regarding COVID-19, closely monitoring the situation
and responding to current conditions.

12 sites available; this campground lies on the south shore of the Middle Fork
Feather River on Forest route 22N62 at the confluence of the Little North Fork
of the Middle Fork Feather River and South Branch Feather River.  Access is
via Brush Creek or Mountain Spring House off Lumpkin Ridge Road.  **The
facility has no water or  garbage collection. Pack it in, pack it out for your
trash. **Road access is**not recommended for RVs and trailers**.  A vault
toilet, dedicated campsites, and fire rings are provided. Campfires are
prohibited when fire restrictions are in effect. Propane or white gas stoves
and lanterns are permitted during fire restrictions with a valid California
campfire permit. **The vault toilet is currently closed, pending availability
of pumping service. Please be prepared to dispose of human waste properly by
bringing wag  bags or portable sanitation units.**

Please respect closed areas for protection of natural resources.

the Oro-Quincy Highway (Highway 162).  The campground features 6 sites, a hand
pump drinking water well, vault toilet, picnic tables, and fire rings.
