Bathrooms fantastically clean
Site is great
My only issue is this:
After avalanche / flooding a few years ago, parking area mow has golf ball size rock/ gravel. Very bad traction and difficult to manuever trailers. Often got stuck while backing or pulling
Probably wouldnt bring trailers anymore

Typically this is my absolute favorite site but the Avalanche did it dirty. Although the camp host should have prepared for camp season, that’s really what my review is about.
Gravel was a large pile in the middle of the area where cars are parked. They removed 2 camp tables near the restaurant leaving only 2 near the field. For such a large camp site two tables aren’t suitable. The bear box closest to the tables did not have a key therefore we couldn’t use it. Had to trek to the one near the bathroom with no tables.
They could have at least try to level the field in some way. It was soooo bumpy and full of holes with water (bugs were terrible), we ended up putting our tent along the parking area. I plan on going back of course because I’m super loyal to this site - it just wasn’t worth the price this go around. Bathrooms were clean. Trees were super bare and the creek path changed.

My goodness did we have a wonderful time! The camp host helped us scare a teenage bear away when it got wind of our pastries. Totally our fault for leaving our items out for and unattended (even if it was for 7 mins). Camp site is clean there are plenty of bear boxes and bathrooms were private and very, very clean.
Hands down the best site that I have camped at.

Campground is in a beautiful location alongside Rock Creek and has plenty of room for tents, RV’s, and activities. We had (4) tents(room for lots more) and (1) 30’ motor home. The (4) or (5) bear boxes provided more than enough room for all of the food and coolers to be stored. The restrooms were very clean and the large fire ring was really nice for cold nights we had. Would’ve been convenient to have a full size dumpster on site, but other than that everything else was perfect.

One of the bear lockers remains unfixed year after year. Depending on time of the year; some of the campsite might be muddy/ unusable. Site is great otherwise.
