Views were incredible, sunset and sunrise included! Campground was clean and clearly marked.

I like low-key camping with few people around, so this has been my favorite place to camp for the last five or six years, but this year it seemed much less maintained. We were there Thursday-Saturday, and there was no toilet paper stocked the entire time. The grate over the fire (site 4) was also mangled. We'll still keep coming back as long as creekside sites are available, but it was odd.

It was a nice campground, the wind was really bad and it was very dusty but you can’t control Mother Nature.

Simpson Springs Campground is very well maintained and a great location. We knew there were no hookups, but were surprised that there is potable water here. We will definitely be back to see the wild horses again.

It was great, know that it's a desert though. One issue we faced, trying to pay for our stay. There is basically no cell service here. So scan the QR code to pay for our stay. Have to run 3 or so miles up the road, see that it takes us a site to download the app. I download the app, from the app I found the campground, I could see everything about the campground except how to pay. I had to drive back to the campground to scan the code again from inside the app before I could then drive back up the road to service to then pay for our stay. There should be better instructions or a way to pay without service. Quite the hassle.

Had the group site and it was perfect for our needs. It was clean and well laid out.
