The North Fork Virgin River Merriam's Turkey Viewing Area consists of a stream that runs through small meadows interspersed with forest. Streamside vegetation is composed of cottonwood and willows, while uplands are primarily piсon-juniper and Gambel oak stands with scattered ponderosa pines.
