Bathrooms were decently clean, hand soap in some, empty dispensers in others, but we brought our own. It wasn’t crowded and was quiet except for a dog bark on repeat half the night. Only real complaint is nothing the host can control: so many yellow jackets! They weren’t aggressive but were very persistent. Our site opened up to a path to the water which was very beautiful and very cold. We saw deer and foxes and evidence of raccoons, and thankfully no bears 😊

A beautiful setting, although a little too close to the road to the lake. At least it wasn't too busy. The campsites were spacious and separated by plenty of space.

Space # 21 was very spacious, right across from the restrooms. We were able to fit a 8 person tent and a 6 person tent and still had lots of space for grilling a canopy and the truck. Very clean and close to the lake but it does require some walking down. Not noisy despite the road being close. The only downside we had personally was the no service for any phones. We did enjoy being screen free and just used the satellite sms messaging option to contact family.

Great campground and host but the traffic noise from I-5 made me leave one day early! Could not relax. Maybe the sites to the east are a little more quiet. The launch ramp nearby is not protected from boat wakes, boats on the outside of the dock get slammed into it.

The three spots that I rented at Ackerman was perfect. It was very accommodating, and the staff was so polite and attending!! Anything we needed, they always brought it to us. The water was very cold, but it was expected. Beautiful scenery.
