Beautiful site right on the Jemez river. Clear fire restriction instructions. Friendly camp host. Bathrooms were a little stinkier than ideal.

Campsites were well-maintained, neighbors were quiet, and their was a nice stream that our dogs and kiddo loved playing in during the hot summer day

This was the first time my family stayed at this campground. We reserved 3 sites adjacent to each other. RV and tent space were great. The location is quite beautiful and peaceful. The river is within a few short steps and is a big plus when camping for us as we have children in our group. There had been a recent flood which washed out some of the riverbank and left lots of stick and log accumulation in spots, but it was still accessible and enjoyable. This campground does not have any water hookups nor electricity hookups, so you must come prepared for that. It was not really an issue for us , though it would have been nice to have had them. There were bathrooms there that were quite nice and kept clean. They even had inside lights. A store is only a few miles down the road which was convenient to us for purchasing ice and anything else we might need. There are natural attractions and hiking and fishing within a reasonable distance which helps make this campground an excellent location. It is not too high of an elevation so it did get very warm during the day. We will come back to this place again, but probably later in the year or earlier in the year to beat the heat. We went camping there over the long 4th of July weekend. The campground roads and parking spots are paved. The parking spots are also quite level. Two of our sites had nice shelters with picnic tables. Very nice!! Our campground host was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We will be back!!

We had a wonderful experience during our stay thanks to our camp host. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, they were quick to help and always did so with a positive attitude
