Really enjoyed it with my family of 7. Wilderness but close enough to town that we used it instead of hotels!
Would be nice if the water was working but we made do
Pro tip- camp away from the toilets. Convenient to be close, but may smell it if downwind

We had a lovely camping experience at Black Canyon National Park. The park host was great and helpful. We knew ahead of time there was no water in the park and were prepared. It was a beautiful place to stay. I

Our first time at Black Canyon campground and it was wonderful! Nice weather with a few cooling rain showers each day. Wildlife was abundant with hummingbirds and chipmunks. Saw a doe one day. Our campsite was very clean with asphalt driveway and graveled area for tent or gazebo setup. The campsite loop road is on an incline, however most of the campsites are pretty much level. Approximately 8 miles from Santa Fe shops and restaurants.

We loved the campground and our campsite #12
Other than not having water at the time it was great.
