Located near the confluence of War Creek and the Twisp River, this forested
campground has two sections.  One section stretches along the seasonal War
Creek and has long parking aprons that are well-suited to recreational
vehicles.  The sounds of Twisp River can be heard in the distance.  There are
a few sites in a small grassy meadow.  Mature Douglas fir provide ample shade
to most campsites.  The other section is small and just off the roadway.  It
is best suited for smaller vehicles as well as tent campers.  A thick middle
and understory in both sections provide good privacy between some sites.
There are trailheads nearby. Rattlesnakes occasionally seen in the area.

This forested horse camp is located in the southwest end of Twisp River Area.
Gives access to nearby trails Twisp River Trail #440, South Creek Trail #401

Campground area is intended for stock users. Maximum length of site is 30
feet. This camp is maintained by the Methow Valley Chapter of the Backcountry
Horsemen of Washington.

This campground is located near the confluence of South Creek and the Twisp

The Cascade Creek campground is a hike-in campground located near the
Lakeshore Trail #1247 between Prince Creek campground and Moore Point
campground. There is no boat dock at this lakeside site but it offers two tent
sites, 1 picnic table, 1 fire ring and 1 Wallowa toilet. There is not a bear
proof communal food storage locker so you'll need to bring some rope to hang
your food.

Pursuant to _36 CFR 261.50(a)_ , the following acts are prohibited on the
Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Chelan Ranger District. This closure is
effective as of January 18, 2017, and will remain in effect until terminated.

#### **PROHIBITED**

Camping is prohibited at the following campgrounds on the Chelan Ranger
District:

  1. Lucerne Campground
  2. Domke Lake Campground
  3. Stuart Camp
  4. Hatchery Camp 

Camping is prohibited in the campgrounds described above unless indicated

This forested campground, surrounded by nearby mountains, is located along
Early Winters Creek on Highway 20. This campground has beautiful mountain

Good overnight spot for bicyclists. Next campground westbound is located at
Diablo Lake.
