The creek was not as close as we expected, but still fun to visit. Campsites closest to the road definitely could hear passing traffic. The site was well maintained and the group had an amazing weekend

Terrible fly infestation. The bathroom was so bad. I would never recommend this to anyone.
Mosquitos were wild af.

Absolutely loved it. A lot of open space and secluded with much space for cars and people! I will say wish there was a spicket was not able to find one but other than that I would recommend also being a lot of light sources!

Great overall experience at Holiday Group Campground. The site offers excellent shade and natural coverage, which kept things cool and private. While it’s fairly close to the road, the thick barrier of trees and foliage makes it feel secluded.
The kids had a blast — there’s plenty of space and it felt very safe and private. Amenities are basic but appreciated: picnic tables, grills, trash bins, and bear boxes were all in place and well-maintained.
Close enough to town (15min) where you can drive down if you forgot something - far enough where you’re surrounded by nature.
The only downside was the lack of running water. For a campground this size, it’s a bit surprising it’s not piped in. That said, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The nearby creek was a big hit with the kids and made up for it.
Would definitely recommend for group trips or families looking for a laid-back outdoor getaway.
