Lovers Leap

It was one of the best trad climbing I’ve ever had. Easy approach and descend. Many climbing routes easy to spot and climbing to. The campground is very clean and just at the base. Wonderful summer’s destination.

The camping is perfect access to the climbing at Lover's Leap. Nice sites; clean outhouses... Very convenient. If you don't have a smart phone and a recreation.gov account, you won't be able to get a site; there is no longer an option to pay by cash/check.

Once I downloaded the app at the store everything went smoothly. My only complaint were all the confused tourists with their flashlights waking me up in the middle of the night because they did not realize the campground was full. All the campsites have assigned parking so there is no need to walk through someone’s campsite in the middle of the night; the parking lot says it all

We had a great stay at Lover's Leap campground, which we used as our base camp to do some climbs on Lover's Leap. We were able to pay for the campsite with our phone. The restrooms were reasonably clean, and there was good reception throughout the campground. Can only recommend.
