<p>Set in the naturally diverse Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Buckhorn Campground is surrounded by unique flora, fauna, and geological formations. <br><br><br>The rolling hillside is part of the Crosstimbers (covered with partial prairie and partial forest) and offers abundant opportunities for wildlife viewing and recreational enjoyment.</p>

Hike or bike on the unpaved Rock Creek Multi-Use Trail or head up Rock Creek for a visit to the Chickasaw Cultural Center. There, you can learn all about the Native Americans of the region through exhibits, videos and interactive displays.
