We were at Loop A, Site 1 the first few nights. Beautiful mountain views all around us. This site was across from the vault toilets and was the smaller of the two loops. There was not much shade at this location, however, if you needed open space to run StarLink, it would be perfect. The camp hosts were awesome, also in this Loop. Later in the week, we moved to Loop B, Site 14. closer to the creek, more shade, and again close to the vault toilet. Even though there were no full hookups, we loved the campground and plan to come back in the future. We drove into Red River one day and to the Idlewild community near Angel Fire. The weather was cool in the early mornings and 80's in the afternoons.

Beautiful campground and the camp hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Perfect spot to camp between Questa and Red River.

Lovely campground. Roger and Gwen, camp hosts, do an excellent job in every way. Very professional and welcoming. The campgrounds are very well maintained and seem to get better each year.
