The **Yuba Special Recreation Area** , conveniently located in Central Utah,
offers a variety of water recreation opportunities. Warm summer water
temperatures, sandy beaches, nearby off-highway vehicle areas, and fishing for
walleye and yellow perch attract visitors year-round.

At an elevation of 5,100 feet, the Yuba Special Recreation Area is 25 miles
south of Nephi, just off Interstate 15. The reservoir, when full, is 22 miles
long and reaches a maximum depth of 80 feet. This recreation area is
cooperatively managed by Utah State Parks and Recreation and the USDI Bureau
of Land management.

Elevation 5000 feet. The warm waters of Yuba Reservoir provide a wonderful
setting for boaters, waterskiers, windsurfers, sailors and swimmers. In
addition, there is year-round fishing for walleye, perch, catfish, and
northern pike. This reservoir is popular on weekends, especially during the
summer months.
