While the campground suffered a dramatic hair-cut this year by the Forest Service by thinning trees and increasing diversity, our group really appreciated the investment in the forest at the campground to assure a long future of family camping at Hayward Flat. Thank you, team...

Did not stay the night at this site due to the size of tent spot not big enough and an illness with one of the campeers.

We go here every year. The camp host Shannon went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

The campsite is awesome. Clean bathrooms and an awesome view of the lake. For anybody looking to book, just know that if you are on the perimeter of the campground, you’re gonna be sleeping on a slope. Not a whole lot of tent spaces on flat ground unless you are in one of the inner campgrounds.
Popularity: Very quiet

Busiest in August, when about 18% of guest capacity is reserved. Based on 11 years of reservations.
