* The byway runs along the river adjacent to US-50.

* Take US-23 south to US-52 in Portsmouth where you enter the byway.

* Take I-70 East to Bridgeport, OH where you enter the byway.

* Take US 33 southeast to Pomeroy, OH where you enter the byway.

* Take I-77 south to Marietta, OH where you enter the byway.
###From Charleston, WV###
* Take I-64 West to Huntington, WV and cross the Ohio River at any Ohio River bridge to enter the byway.

* Take I-77 north to Marietta, OH where you enter the byway.

* Take I-71 north to Cincinnati, OH where you enter the byway.

* Take I-79 south to 1-70 in Washington, PA to Bridgeport, OH where you enter the byway.
**Navigating the Byway:**
The Ohio River Scenic Byway through Ohio runs from the Indiana state border on
US 52 along the Ohio River to the Pennsylvania state border. * The byway
begins near Cincinnati, Ohio on Highway 50. * In Cincinnati take Highway 52
southeast. * Follow Highway 52 as it meanders across the state. Near
Proctorville Highway 52 becomes State Route 7. * After Pomeroy take State
Route 124 southeast towards Minersville. * Take State Route 338 south at
Racine and follow it until it reunites with SR 124. * Follow SR 124 to Little
Hocking where it reunites with Highway 7. * The road enters Wayne National
Forest about 7 miles after Marietta and exits the forest after 27 miles. *
Follow Highway 7 to the end of the byway, at East Liverpool.
