Manti-La Sal National Forest
Reviews
Manti-La Sal National Forest campgrounds are widely appreciated for their beautiful natural and peaceful settings, clean and well-maintained facilities, and friendly, helpful hosts. Visitors enjoy spacious and private campsites with scenic views, wildlife sightings, and opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and ATV riding. However, common issues include limited or no potable water availability, challenging and sometimes rough or remote access roads, insect problems (notably mosquitoes and flies), occasional noise from campers, ATVs, or nearby roads, and some campsite layout or maintenance concerns.
Busiest in August, when about 20% of guest capacity is reserved. Based on 11 years of reservations.
