Reviews
Hyatt Reservoir campground continues to be valued for its natural beauty, clean and spacious sites, and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the family-friendly environment, wildlife viewing, and amenities like flush toilets and showers. However, challenges persist with low water levels and blue algae affecting lake activities, limited potable water especially at the horse camp, locked gates requiring planning, occasional muddy lake edges due to geese, and occasional maintenance delays.

Pleasant, forested campground in the Cascade-Syskiyou National Monument. The camp host was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean and had running water, toilets and showers. A PCT campsite was nearby and I was able to chat with a couple of through-hikers and I hiked along the PCT. The lake level was down due to the drought and this was unfortunate. A beautiful area.

Great stay, only 3 campers in the whole place. Peacefully quiet & open sky!

I reserved a spot at Hyatt Lake, but later learned that the reservoir has algae blooms and possible cyanotoxins. No swimming and no dogs in the water.
It was too late to cancel without penalty, but we wanted to cancel anyway so the spot would show available to others. I'd like to see:
1) A cancel button even if the entire fee is forfeited, and
2) A notification of health or other conditions that might affect a stay.
Sorry I don't have anything to stay about the actual lake since we didn't stay there!

Some of the cleanest bathrooms I have experienced at a campground. The sites were nice, some were a bit small. It is clear that the hosts put a great deal of effort into maintaining a nice campground. The RV dump station was very well designed.
