**Navigating the Byway:** #### Getting to the Byway From the south, travel approximately seven miles east from Three Lakes to the start of the byway along State Road 32. If traveling from Eagle River in the north, travel eleven miles east along State Road 70 towards the junction. #### Driving the Byway Heritage Drive is a forked byway. The longest leg begins at the junction of SR 32 and Forest Service Route 2157 and travels north through the Nicolet National Forest for eleven miles along the western fork that ends at SR 70. The eastern fork heads towards Butternut Lake on Forest Service Route 2181 for four miles.
