* Take I-64 east to Kenova. * Get on US-23 to enter the byway.
**Navigating the Byway:**
The Country Music Highway follows US 23 south from Ashland to Whitesburg. *
The byway passes through Paintsville, Prestonsburg, and Pikeville. * South of
Pikeville, US 23 joins with US 119. * At Jenkins, follow US 119 west to
Whitesburg where the byway ends.
