**Getting to the Byway:** _Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), MD_ * From Friendship Rd, take a slight left at I-195 W. * Take exit 2A to merge onto Baltimore Washington Pkwy N/MD-295 N. * Take the Harbor Tunnel Thrwy/I-895 exit. * Merge onto I-895 N. * Continue on I-95 N. * Take exit 7 toward DE-52/Delaware Ave. * Merge onto N Adams St. * Turn right at W 11th St. * Continue straight through the right onto Pennsylvania Ave where you enter the byway. _Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), PA_ **From Philadelphia International Airport to Brandywine Valley Scenic Byway** * Head east * Merge onto I-95 S * Take the DE-52 N/Delaware Ave Exit * Merge onto N Jackson St * Turn right onto Delaware Ave, where you enter the byway _Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), VA_ * Turn left onto Smith Blvd. * Take ramp onto George Washington Memorial Pkwy. * Take exit onto SW Fwy/I-395 N. * Make a slight right on to Pennsylvania Ave. * Take the ramp on the left onto DC-295 N. * Continue on MD-295 N then take the Harbor Tunnel Thrwy/I-895 exit. * Merge onto I-895 N. * Continue on I-95 N. * Take exit 7 toward DE-52/Delaware Ave. * Merge onto N Adams St. * Turn right at W 11th St. * Continue straight through the light onto Pennsylvania Ave where you enter the byway. In good conditions, the trip takes 2 hours and 10 minutes, but plan for 2 hours and 40 minutes in case of traffic. _Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD), VA_ * Make a slight left at Hirst Brault Expy. * Take the exit onto VA-267 E. * Take the exit onto I-495 N. * Take exit 27 for I-95 N. * Take exit 7 toward DE-52/Delaware Ave. * Merge onto N Adams St. * Turn left at W 10th St. * Turn right at N Van Buren St. * Turn left onto Pennsylvania Ave to enter the byway. In good conditions, the trip will take 2 hours and 20 minutes, but plan for 3 hours in case of traffic. _Philadelphia, PA_ * Take I-95 south * Follow I-95 until the intersection with Delaware Ave. in Wilmington * The byway begins in Wilmington on DE-52 **Navigating the Byway:** * The byway begins at the Pennsylvania State line at Delaware 52 (also known as Kennett Pike). * Continue for 7.3 miles into the city of Wilmington. * From Wilmington, take Delaware 52 (Pennsylvania Avenue) to Delaware 100 (Montchanin Road). * Continue for 5.1 miles until the byway ends at the Pennsylvania State line.
