reached by a one mile hike from the Slippery Brook Road with longer hiking
potential along the Mountain Pond Loop which circumnavigates the entire

you that opening day has been delayed. We hope to open in June of this year.
Cold River Campground & Hastings Campground will be open as of May 22nd and
can be reserved on Recreation.gov. We sincerely apologize for any

Rocky Branch Shelter sleeps 6-8, with a fire ring, toilet, and 3 tent
platforms for tenting. The shelter sits along the Rocky Branch River just
outside of the Presidential-Dry River Wilderness.  **The Rocky Branch Trail is
now open all the way through.  **It re-opened in September 2015, 4 years after
closure due to damage sustained during Tropical Storm Irene.

Blackberry Crossing is unique in that is was a CCC (Civilian Conservation
Corps) Camp during the 1930's. There is a self-guided tour of the old camp
within the campground. The campground has 26 sites that are available on a
first come, first served basis. There are hand pumps for water and vault
toilets. A short walk from the campground is the Albany Covered Bridge, The
Nanamocomuck Ski Trail, and the Boulder Loop hiking trail. There are coin
operated showers six miles west on the Kancamagus Highway (Rt 112).

The campground has 26 sites that are available on a first come, first served basis. There are hand pumps for water and vault toilets. A short walk from the campground is the Albany Covered Bridge, The Nanamocomuck Ski Trail, and the Boulder Loop hiking trail. There are coin operated showers six miles west on the Kancamagus Highway (Rt 112).</p>

Copp Picnic Pavilion is a wonderful location for a family reunion, wedding
reception, or any large group gathering.

Pavilion offers room for games and socializing. The Dolly Copp Campground,

pavilion was reconstructed in 1996 using some of the original timbers and new
timbers harvested from trees planted by the same 1936 CCC crew. The pavilion

floor. Two charcoal grills are available next to the pavilion. The Dolly Copp
Picnic Area has a dumpster, running water, and a flush toilet.
