Loved that it was close to the water, just a short walk. Pavement campground, but in the trees. Potable and non potable water near the campsites as well as garbage bins. We didn't see any bears, Only 1 or 2 bear proof bins for storage, would be nice to have one at every site possibly. Camp hosts left us alone which was fine, but other campgrounds the host introduces themselves and lets you know to contact them if you need anything. Overall, my friends and I loved the stay. Our things were safe, it was quiet , so we enjoyed our getaway.

Love the area. A nice place to park the RV with trees instead of Just a paved parking. Close to Whiskeytown Lake only a quarter mile walk on a paved road from the camp. Limited spaces So not crowded and ample parking area. Most sites you can drive right in and out! This is good for me. I don't back a trailer up too good! Camp host is friendly and so is the park ranger that drives through a few times a day. Potable water is available as well as a dump station. Able to enjoy the view of the lake and ample room to sit in chairs at your camp site.

Very peaceful! Large sites make it very easy in and out. On site dump station a huge plus.

The 1st night was great the next two nights not so much. Huge mamma bear and her two large cubs came into camp and were it easily scared. Banging big stainless pans together didn’t faze them

Nice quiet spot, just a short walk/drive down to the lake. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Whiskeytown is a nice early/late season location, as Summers can be sweltering.
And then there’s the Kokanee fishing…
