The Umapine OHV Trailhead sits adjacent to the Umapine Campground. Located in
a scenic ponderosa pine forest west of Vey Meadows between Cuuyem and Umapine
Creeks, the trailhead serves as a central staging area for the Winom-Frazier
OHV trail area which gives off-road riders access to more than 140 miles of
challenging trails.

Frog Heaven Forest Camp

Spool Cart Campground is nestled in the forest on the banks of the Grande
Ronde River. This is a developed campground with paved roads and accessible
toilets.

Historically, trains stopped here and left spools of cable; for loggers to
transport to work sites using carts.

If a campground with riverside trails and bird watching opportunities sound
appealing, but you don't want to wander too far off of the beaten path, Bird
Track Springs Campground may be the place for you. The short drive goes along
river-side farm land and is less than one-half hour from I-84 on State Highway
244. It is a prime spot for a great get-away.  Each of the 22 campsites is
nestled beneath towering ponderosa pines in the Grande Ronde River valley. The
Bird Track Campground map (182 KB) shows the location of each campsite.

Grande Ronde Lake Campground is one of three campgrounds in the Anthony Lakes

fishing, canoeing, day hiking, and outdoor photography. This campground offers
8 tent/trailer sites, 3 of which are accessible.
