Customers may submit a refund request through their Recreation.gov profile
within 7 days of the end date of their reservation. Customers may also
initiate a refund request through the call center at any time after their
reservation has ended.

Fees: Applicable fees, such as reservation fees, service/cancellation fees,
lottery application fees, and change fees, are non-refundable.

Debit or Credit Card Purchases: Refunds for debit or credit card payments made
after October 1, 2018 will be issued as a credit to the original bank or
credit card used to pay. In the event that a customer has cancelled this card,
they will need to contact their card company to have the funds released. We
cannot issue refunds to any card other than the one used to pay. If a customer
paid with a debit or credit card prior to October 1, 2018 their refund will be
issued in the form of a Treasury check.

Check or Cash Purchases: Recreation.gov will mail a Treasury check for refunds
of cash, check, or money order payments to the address associated with the
reservation. You may update the address at the time you request the refund. It
may take up to 6-8 weeks for the Treasury check to arrive. Please make sure
your address is up to date in your customer profile.

Emergency Closures: In the event of an emergency closure, the Recreation.gov
team or facility manager will refund all fees and will attempt to notify you
using the contact information within your Recreation.gov customer profile.

Cancelling a Reservation: Customers may cancel their reservation prior to

price with the same reservation dates in the same facility.

If a reservation is made that includes dates beyond the maximum booking
window, that reservation cannot be changed until 18 days have passed from the

**Interagency Pass Discounts**

The following are the only Interagency Passes that provide a discount on

Other charges such as electricity or water hookups, reservation or other fees
are not eligible for a discount.

The holder of the pass must occupy the site for which the discount is applied.

The pass can only be used for one site during a time period.

Customers may submit a refund request through their Recreation.gov profile
within 7 days of the end date of their reservation. Customers may also
initiate a refund request through the call center at any time after their
reservation has ended.

Fees: Applicable fees, such as reservation fees, service/cancellation fees,
lottery application fees, and change fees, are non-refundable.

Debit or Credit Card Purchases: Refunds for debit or credit card payments made
after October 1, 2018 will be issued as a credit to the original bank or
credit card used to pay. In the event that a customer has cancelled this card,
they will need to contact their card company to have the funds released. We
cannot issue refunds to any card other than the one used to pay. If a customer
paid with a debit or credit card prior to October 1, 2018 their refund will be
issued in the form of a Treasury check.

Check or Cash Purchases: Recreation.gov will mail a Treasury check for refunds
of cash, check, or money order payments to the address associated with the
reservation. You may update the address at the time you request the refund. It
may take up to 6-8 weeks for the Treasury check to arrive. Please make sure
your address is up to date in your customer profile.

Emergency Closures: In the event of an emergency closure, the Recreation.gov
team or facility manager will refund all fees and will attempt to notify you
using the contact information within your Recreation.gov customer profile.

Reservation fees for free tickets are non-refundable in the event of an
emergency closure.

Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. § 551 and 36 C.F.R. § 261.50 (a) and (b)**, the

**prohibited** on the National Forest System area and roads in the Logan
Ranger District,  
Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forests. Described below and shown on the
attached map incorporated into this Order as Exhibit A. This Order will be in
effect May 13, 2026, and shall remain in effect until December 31, 2026,
unless rescinded.

  1. **Being in or upon the Guinavah-Malibu Campground area including all roads** as described below and shown on attached map. This includes all pedestrians, equestrians, bicycles, and any type of motorized vehicle. [36 CFR 261.53(e)]

## EXEMPTIONS

Pursuant to 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(e), the following persons are exempt from this
Order:

  1. Persons with Forest Service Permit specifically exempting them from this Order or a written determination by a Forest Service authorized officer that a permit is not required under 36 C.F.R. § 251.50(e)(1) or (2).
  2. Any federal, state, or local officer, or member of an organized rescue or firefighting resource in the performance of an official duty.
  3. Federal or state administrative personnel in performance of an official duty.

## DESCRIBED

Guinavah-Malibu Campground Area closure includes all roads Forest Service
Roads 20034, 20034-A, 20034-B, 20034-C, 20034-D, 20034-E, 20034-F, 20034-G,
and 20034-

H located in Township 12 North, Range 2 East, Sections 22 and 23 all within
the Salt Lake Base Meridian as shown on the attached map.

## PURPOSE

Purpose of the closure is to provide for public health and safety while crews
are re-constructing the campground.

**IMPLEMENTATION**

  1. This Order will be in effect when signed May 12, 2026, and shall remain in effect until December 31, 2026, unless rescinded.

  3. Unless otherwise expressly defined in this Order, the terms used in this Order are defined by the regulations of the Secretary of Agriculture, 36 C.F.R. Chapter II, Parts 200-299. Cancelling a Reservation: Customers may cancel their reservation prior to
arrival both on-line and through the call center. A $10 service fee will be
withheld from any refund for a cancellation. Depending on when you cancel in
relation to your arrival day, it may be considered a late cancellation (see

**Changing an Existing Reservation: When changes are made prior to the cut-off
window:**

If a customer wants to switch dates that are entirely outside of the original
reservation dates, there is a $10 change fee.

Green Canyon Picnic Area

## Overview

This campground is located in Smithfield Canyon, 12.4 miles northeast of
Logan, Utah, at an elevation of 5,500 feet.

## Recreation

This campground offers access to hiking and biking trails. Two miles up the
road is the Smithfield Canyon trailhead, which leads into the Mount Naomi
Wilderness. There is a stock loading ramp at the trailhead parking lot. Trail
007 leads to Tony Grove Lake, on the other side of the wilderness. Activities
include fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and horse riding.

## Facilities

This campground has 6 single camp sites each with a picnic table and fire
ring. It also offers 1 group day use site. Vault restrooms are available at
this campground.

## Natural Features

There are plenty of wildflowers including glacier lilies in April-July and
there are always birds, small critters, and elk and deer can be seen, but more
rarely.

**Reservation Cancellations & Changes**

Cancelling a Reservation: Customers may cancel their reservation prior to
arrival both on-line and through the call center. A $10 service fee will be
withheld from any refund for a cancellation. Depending on when you cancel in
relation to your arrival day, it may be considered a late cancellation (see

**Changing an Existing Reservation: When changes are made prior to the cut-off
window:**

If a customer wants to switch dates that are entirely outside of the original
reservation dates, there is a $10 change fee.

There is no change fee if a customer extends or shortens a reservation, as

There is no change fee if the customer wants to switch sites that are the same
price with the same reservation dates in the same facility.

If a reservation is made that includes dates beyond the maximum booking
window, that reservation cannot be changed until 18 days have passed from the
original booking date.

Individual Campsites: A customer who cancels a reservation the day before or

**Interagency Pass Discounts**

The following are the only Interagency Passes that provide a discount on
