Overview

Sweetwater Campground is located on a mixed conifer forested site adjacent to Highway 120, in close proximity to Yosemite National Park. Sites offer camping furniture (picnic tables, campfire pit with grill). Accessible vault toilets and potable water is available.

Sweetwater Campground has 12 single camping units. All units are suitable for tents & RV's (32 ft. max). All interior and spur roads are poaved. Each unit contains at least one picnic table, fire ring and bear box. This is one double vault toilet until (2 toilets). Well water is available and is piped to 3 faucets throughout the campground.

Sites are spacious but very little to no shade. Bathrooms were fairly clean. We did have a skunk in our campsite! Overall a good spot to camp outside Yosemite if it’s not too hot.

Sites are spacious! Clean restrooms and good amount of faucets, Host is so nice and reminded us about food and garbage keeping to avoid bears from coming to our sites! Would definitely go back if Going to Yosemite. Almost an hour away. Most or all of the campers were there for the yosemite

Pros: La localización está genial y el acceso a Yosemite es muy sencillo y rápido. El acceso al propio camping es sencillo e intuitivo. Cuenta con merenderos y fogata para cada plaza reservada. El precio es excelente comparado con otros lugares. Contras: No dispone de enganche de agua para RVs Los baños dejan mucho que desear (son un agujero en el suelo con un asiento básicamente) y no hay disponibilidad de duchas.
