Directions
Take Highway 41 north from Fresno, just past the town of Fish Camp. The campground is on the left side of the highway, 1.5 miles before the entrance to Yosemite National Park.

Pros: The campground itself is quite nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Facilities were fine, if a bit rustic.
Cons: However, it was not apparent when I reserved our campsite that we had a spot right next to the garbage bin, which was overfull and not well bear-proofed. Other campers told us they'd seen bears rummaging in the overflowing bits. It made us nervous to camp next to that!

A quiet place. We used it accommodation, from there it is only a short drive into the Yosemite NP to visit Mariposa.

I love this campground! Been coming here for about 7 years now. It is beautiful, and generally quiet.
Bathrooms are maintained regularly but, some guests either can’t read the signs or just don’t care. Please clean after yourselves !
Plenty or water faucets throughout the campground, which is awesome.
Trash bins spread out throughout the campground as well.

Amazing camp host, she was so kind and helpful. A beautiful place to stay. Right next to Mariposa grove and the park entrance to tunnel view. Just wish they had bear boxes! Didn't like having to keep food in the high sierras.

Un emplacement pratique et agréable quand il fait chaud. L'accès à la rivière est très agréable et le site est plat.
Les emplacements sont bien délimités mais j'ai eu des voisins très bruyant qui faisaient fonctionner leur groupe électrogène sans arrêt. Le deuxième soir j'ai dû intervenir à 23h30 car je n'arrivais toujours pas à dormir entre le groupe électrogène, la musique et les discussions très fortes et animées. Ils ont fini par tout arrêter à minuit 20.
