We arrived midday and left almost immediately after getting setup. Camp host said he would come talk to us but we ran into him on the way out. There was no mention of bear containers and camp sites don’t have them already set in place.
I assumed the host would leave ours on our site but we came back from Yosemite late at night and didn’t see one. He was already sleeping and we didn’t want to wake him.
We packed our stuff and left bc we didn’t want to risk a bear breaking into our car. The fault is shared here on the host for not making it more of a priority to explain right away and on us for not asking when we had a chance. Make sure you get properly settled before you do anything else!! So you’re not in our shoes.
Camp is about 1hr 45min away from the entrance to Yosemite, then another 45 min drive once inside the park to get anywhere of interest including the valley or even glacier point.
With all of that said, the camp is beautiful, the sites aren’t too close together and if you’re lucky you can book one overlooking the creek. The only downside I would say they have are the bathrooms. They seemed more rustic than at other campsites I’ve stayed before.

Site number 8 was incredible. Right next to the water. Beautiful location. Was pleasantly surprised by the roaming cows !

Loveeee this campsite a lot! It is beautiful and large trees all over providing shade, beauty, and peace. If this location had flushable toilets it would be perfect. But I def plan to be back!

We were in site number 1. Absolutely gorgeous. Loved that. we only had neighbors on one side. The creek is right next to the campground with an awesome fishing hole that kept the kids entertained. Great hiking, water holes, and exploring super close to the campground. The road into the campground was in great shape. Special shout out to the camp host, Craig. He was attentive, kind, helpful, and kept the campsite looking great. He even raked the sites between visitors. Can't wait to go back.

Camp host was very nice and helpful. Every evening he swung by to see if we need our trash thrown out and if we needed extra garbage bag. Every site was nicely raked after each group left. Our site was perfect for our family. Next to the stream and the perfect spot for fishing
