Great spot. Our site was pretty sloped but had a perfect trail to the water

Beautiful campsites well kept and clean. My truck even had a dead battery and the person who takes care of the area came and helped us with no hesitation was very friendly. I will definitely take my family back. I'm giving it five stars because they can't control it but the water entrance to go swimming was extremely muddy but there's nothing that anybody can do about that. Overall one of the nicest campsites on Trinity lake

Very relaxing and enjoyable visit. Been coming for almost 60 years. Not much has changed.

The campsite is awesome. Clean bathrooms and an awesome view of the lake. For anybody looking to book, just know that if you are on the perimeter of the campground, you’re gonna be sleeping on a slope. Not a whole lot of tent spaces on flat ground unless you are in one of the inner campgrounds.

It’s a beautiful campground, too bad they don’t tell you ahead of time that they don’t have potable water. Which means another drive back into Weaverville to get drinking water. And not all campsites have bear boxes so be prepared to share with another campsite.

Campground has a great location next to the lake, with a good amount of trees to keep things shady while allowing sunlight in.
