Pleasant enough place to sleep for two nights! The train passed by 3-4 times our first night, and it was loud enough to wake us up, but we're used to train noise where we live so it ultimately didn't feel that disruptive. The little walking path with interpretive signage about the Conservation Corps was cool!

Solid spot, my go-to on roadtrips between SoCal and the PNW. Easy access to the Sacramento River (great for a dip on a hot day). Host is friendly as well. Only downside is that a freight train runs by every few hours and the horn is ridiculously loud. I can still sleep through it, so whatever

There was no water or trash on site; contrary to site ad. Bathrooms replaced with portopotties. Site is next to a train crossing. Trains rolling through and blasting a horn every hour all night long. This site should not be an overnight campground. Worst experience ever.
