the East Fork of the Wood River. The campground is composed of 3 campsites on
the East Fork of the Wood River. The trailhead provides access to Federal
Gulch Tr. No. 169, which connects to the remote and seldom-visited Little Wood
River country. The campground is generally accessible May through October.
Campground amenities include a vault toilet is located in the campground, and
each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Stock is permitted in designated
areas and hitching rails are provided.

Boundary Campground is a developed, fee, non-reservation campground composed
of 9 campsites located on Trail Creek approximately 2 miles northeast of the
Sun Valley Resort Village. The 4-unit Boundary Picnic Area is adjacent to the
campground and shares a vault toilet and hand pump for drinking water with it.
The campground and picnic area are open the Friday before Memorial Day to
September 30 annually. Amenities include drinking water from a hand pump; 2
vault toilets; refuse service; and a fire ring, grill stand, and picnic table
in each site. Campsites also have a designated location to pitch a tent. Camp
and picnic sites have hardened aprons allowing wheelchair access. Access roads
and parking spurs are gravel. Toilets are ADA-accessible. Dogs must be leashed
in the campground and picnic area, and their solid waste picked up and
disposed of properly. Stock is not permitted. Campsites 1 and 7 are double
units. Stay limit is 3 days and check-out time is 2:00 pm. The campground and
picnic area are mostly open with large cottonwood trees providing intermittent
shade. The campground has beautiful views of Bald Mountain Ski Area to the
west.

leading to deep canyons, sparkling lakes, swimming holes and more excellent
high country fishing.

first-come, first-served basis. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided.

Cougar Dispersed Camping Area

## Overview

Wood River Group Overnight Area is located inside the Wood River Campground,
which has 30 single campsites for RV's and tent camping, which are available
for use on a first-come first-served basis.  
  
This campground is located on the banks of the beautiful Big Wood River at an
elevation of 6400 feet. Ketchum, Idaho is conveniently close, only 10 miles
south. Visitors enjoy fishing, tubing and exploring local trails.

## Recreation

This site is part of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, where outdoor
activities abound. Fly-fishing for rainbow, brown and brook trout is popular
on the Big Wood River, as is float tubing. A self-guided nature trail begins
near the amphitheater, leading to a small cave and a beaver pond.

## Facilities

Wood River offers one reservable group site that can be used as a day-use
picnic area for up to 150 people, or as an overnight tent camping site for up
to 40 people. Also Wood River Campground has 30 single campsites for RV's and
tenting which are available for use on a first-come first served basis.  
  
Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. An amphitheater with
electricity and wooden benches is just a short walk from the site. Roads and
parking spurs are paved, but the site surface is dirt.
