Overall is was a good experience. You can go into the town of Big Bear about 32 minutes away. Spend the day over at Jenks Lake or take a nice hike up around the ridge. The one down fall is camping neighbors have a hard time being quiet at 10 am and there is nobody that helps with that so it can be a very long sleepless night.

The site was clean also the bathrooms & showers but the site was full of bees ! Hundreds of bees during the day was very frustrating. They should close this campground & remove the bees

Campsite was clean and raked when we arrived.
Loved the running water and flushable toilets.
The camp hosts were friendly and helpful.
Only negative was a huge, noisy family right next to us, and a lot of traffic noise from the highway.
The local trails are great, with one leading to a beautiful fishing lake.
I'd probably stay here again, but try to get a site further from the highway next time.

Seems like a very family friendly campground. Incredibly sweet hosts and the solar showers were a luxury! Some sites seem very close together, but they’re nice and roomy and accommodated my car and small camper very well. There’s cell service here which I personally try to stay away from but I would still visit again.

It’s a good campsite, just when we went there that weekend was super hot, otherwise it’s super beautiful campground!
