The spot that we camped in was very hard to get into. The driveway is very narrow and is to straight in when trying to back a 33’ cramper into. I rwould not recommend this spot.

There wasn't any attendant or camp host that we could locate when we arrived. There wasn't any one on our site so we were able to go to our site, however there weren't any directional arrows indicating which way to go. We were able to get situated. However we noticed the grass was in need of mowing pretty much everywhere especially in the campground section we were in.
We had very noisy neighbors with barking dogs off leash and there was no one to report it to.
The facilities were clean but old. The dumpster was full.
The lake views were nice.
We wouldn't return here if back in the area.

We stayed in spot 28, and we loved it! Verizon cell service was good enough that we watched a move on TV using my phone as a hot spot, no problems. View was beautiful. I wish the lake level was higher, but it was a great experience.

When we got to our spot the electric plug was not working so we had to move. Then they canceled our next trip for the same spot because they didn’t get it fixed. So we had to find another park altogether since there were no sites available. Not very happy with that.

We had a great time as always. It's a great place to enjoy nature and get away . It's my wife's favorite place because it's close town and it has great views of the lake.

Great view of the lake. Campsite was clean. Access to the lake at that area was not good. There was a steep drop to get to the lake nearest the campsite. Park host was very nice and helpful.

Very nice camping spot. Close enough to the water like I was looking for. My only request would be if you are open for camp fires then while your operation is keeping the site cleaned up and the grass cut that they leave the down tree branches in the location of the tent spot. In order to have fire wood. Or allow the campers to bring in their own firewood. Also the lake is extremely low right now but this does give you the advantage to beach the boat walk to the camp site from the actual lake. Thanks.

The site we booked was very uneven and at a weird angle. We couldn’t use the site and tried to contact someone at the park but had no luck. We wound up taking another available site.

Disappointed. We stayed in the campsites where the shelters are at. The lights in the toilet area were not working. Reported this to the camp host on 4/16 and she said it would be taken care of. We checked out on 4/20 and it was never resolved.

Twin Dikes is a peaceful, beautiful location to camp. We did not know when we booked, but while we were there the Big Bass Splash tournament was going on. We enjoyed talking to the competitors over the weekend and very much enjoyed our stay.

This site was not very level. It really sloped downward. But there was a very pretty view. I noticed while driving around that some of the sites had a lot of broken pavement. Otherwise it was fine if you’re willing to put it up with needing to level. The campground appeared to be very well cared for otherwise.

We enjoy Twin Dikes, it is usually very clean and well-maintained. New sites we added. However, the older sites (I.e. #7) needs work on the parking spurs (pads).

Campground was great but the people next to us left their dog in their trailer and it barked and whined all day. We had enough and moved. Had to break camp load everything up and move down a few spots. We were first told we couldn’t do it and to change sites online. Went online and tried to change it. Host came by and helped us out by letting us stay.

My spot sis notnindocate it was a shared spot. I had a. Amper next to my site who took the shared parking with his teuck and boat. I talked t o the park attendee and she notified to move and change my reservation through the website. The site was down so I never changed I just left. Now importantly pictures are misleading leading you to believe there are water sites available. Water is low you have to hike to get to a muddy pool to fish with no trees around. Don't waste your money.

The hosts on duty---jerry and his wife are both a disgrace to the job. They were both clueless that there was a burn ban in effect for Jasper county and had no intent to inforce it. It's not only irresponsible of them---they posed a danger to us campers and our vechiles and campers if a fire were to get out of control. They only care about getting their free ride. They are pathetic !!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. The main issue we had was that the sites were all backward from what you would expect, so we had to go the "wrong way" down the road to back into our site. Otherwise, it was a peaceful stay over the New Year, and the lake was absolutely beautiful.

Great stay. I had a camping spot right on the water, it was great and relaxing. The hosts were very friendly and made me feel safe. Lots of birds in the area and saw a big alligator! Bathrooms didn’t have soap, that’s my only gripe. I definitely plan on coming back

We were able to get a FHU site. We were able to fit our rig in, which isn't always the case. Site was level enough for autolevel to work. Good water. Good electric (30A). Waste-water worked great. We had a view of the lake & pine woods from our camp. Met some great people & enjoyed a fish fry w/ them. All at a great price.
