## Facilities

The Copper Basin Guard Station is a 900 square foot, two bedroom log cabin
that can sleep up to six adults comfortably, with room for eight people total.
The cabin comes furnished with one queen bed with mattress, two full sized
bunk beds with mattresses, and a queen sized sleeper couch in the living room.
Other amenities include a propane cook stove, propane refrigerator, propane
furnace, propane lights, wood stove, table with benches and chairs, table
settings for eight, kitchen tools and cleaning supplies. The bathroom has hot
and cold running water, a flush toilet, and a shower.  
  
The Copper Basin Guard Station has no electricity, phone service, cell
coverage, or internet service. All appliances are powered by propane. Guests
need to bring their own food, toiletries, towels, bedding and trash bags.
There is no smoking, no candles, and no garbage service. No pets allowed in
the cabin. Campfires are allowed only in the metal fire ring that is provided.

This area has four camping units in an open sage brush area adjacent to Lake
Creek with one vault toilet. Hitching rails and loading ramp are available
outside of the campground.  Horses are not allowed in the campground. Drinking
water is available during the summer months. Nearby attractions are the Lake
Creek ATV trail, Green Lake Trail, and Muldoon Canyon.

Starhope Creek flowing through it.  There are two handpumps to provide potable
water, three vault toilets are available, and several hitching rails. The
hitching rails are located outside of the campground.  Horses are not allowed
in the campground.  Water is available during summer months only.  Nearby
areas of interest include Broad Canyon, Starhope Canyon and Bear Creek Trail.

foot. Seven sites are located along Iron Bog creek and the rest are out in the

accessible restrooms. Four campsites have shade-awnings. Non-reservable
campground with a $10.00/night fee. Hitching rail available outside of the
campground, no horses are allowed in the campground.  One group campsite with
25 person capacity. Nearby Iron Bog Lake, Brockie Lake and Fishpole Lake.
Smiley Mountain looms overhead. Use is light, with the exception of holiday
weekends.
