Camp host was friendly and very helpful with an early check-in. The campground was quiet and camp site was clean. Restroom was electric and flush toilets.

We had a campsite here for 3 nights. The campground wasn’t well maintained and there was only 1 bathroom that was open and accessible to us. We had to walk clear across the campsite to access the bathroom. The men’s side was filthy.
The other 2 bathrooms were locked when we arrived and then after some plumbing repair were opened the next day. However, they to, were not clean.
The host had a sign up that said “Host Off Duty”, with no time or date specified when they would be available. We never saw the campground host during our stay.
I hope other campgrounds in the vicinity are better maintained.

There was no working water spigot or restrooms in the loop where we had our reservation. We did not find out that the water had been turned off in 1/2 the campground until we had completely set up camp. This should have been disclosed before we arrived.

This may be our favorite campsite in Oregon, or anywhere for that matter. It is on a beautiful and wild section of the upper Rogue River and most of the campsites are fairly shady which is nice in the hot summer days. There is a small creek that shoots off of the main river which you can dip into and there is a nice trail from the campground along the river for miles and miles. The flush toilets are nice and a place to plug in your electronics, although there is no cell service until you get about 10 miles down the road to Prospect (which is nice to be away from the phone except for pictures) There is some road noise from the highway, especially by the first 10 or so sites, and the last ones in the upper 40s, but overall it is a very peaceful and beautiful place. It is a gem of a campground! We appreciate that we can reserve our favorite sites ahead of time, so I hope that doesn't change.
