The area itself is very beautiful and quiet. Kept very clean and nice. Plenty of spots to choose from. Bathrooms were clean and sanitary also. Only downfall was the lake was super dry this year so the main swim spot easy to get to perfect for kids was unusable. Had nothing to do with the campground or reservation stuff though.

So many mosquitoes and bees that it was had to enjoy this absolutely beautiful campground. Since this is a newly formed group campground we had many people, that weren't in our group, open the gate and drive in or walk in to use the restrooms. We had a random girl show up on foot one of the nights as well. It needs better signage to declare it a private group camp. The camp host made himself known to us and was very kind. The campground was absolutely beautiful, but it definitely needed some clean-up work. The leaves from fall were near all of the firepits, we chose to clear one of them and make it our only firepit, because fire danger was extreme, and we didn't want to risk it. The creek runs through this campground and if you have a large group of people this will accommodate them, without the fear of getting in trouble for noise. The bathrooms were clean for vault toilets. It's a pretty quiet campground.
