Round Spring

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful

Bathrooms & showers worked well with lights at night & a foot pedal flush which I appreciated, hot water with good water pressure. There was an excess of gnats the 1st night we were there which was annoying, but after it rained Saturday morning they disappeared for the rest of the trip. We used Carr's raft rental right up the street which was very convenient & had a great float Saturday with lots to see along the way: natural springs, 100+ year old cabin, river side cave. We'd love to come back when the Round springs cave is open & use the group camp site next time. The nightly ranger chats were fun too. We sat in on the Hellbbender chat and my son is now insisting we come back next year.

Showers and the campsite were clean. The campground host was fantastic.

This particular site was perfect for us. My daughter has disabilities that involve her feet/legs but isn't wheelchair bound. We were close to the bathroom and the path was level, but we weren't obnoxiously close to it. The site was large and had shade most of the day. We were on the uphill side of camp and had a nice view overlooking the rest of the campground. We did have to drive to the showers, though, but that was ok since it gave us a chance to cool down in the air conditioner in the car.

Camp ground was very nice, shower house and restrooms were very clean and accommodating. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only issue i had was with the two tent rule for 6 people. Having a family 5 two tents even though being small didnt make sense. But overall amazing experience definitely recommend.

Rangers and staff were good

Facilities were very clean and the camp host was so nice and welcoming. They had programs in the evening at the amphitheater there which was such a nice evening activity. The lower landing campground was great for kayaking into from Pullite

Wonderful campground. We rented the electric sights. There was ample space. The bathrooms and showers were clean. We enjoyed the ranger show as well.

Very nice park. RV spots with electricity and water are only 6, but lots of camping without those amenities. Shower house and restrooms very clean. Highly recommend.

The campground host was a good guy. He gave us useful info and changed our reservation to a better site that was empty.

My kayaking group stays here for a week every June. Clean beautiful sites. Raccoons were not bothersome this year. Camp host thoughtful and rangers knowledgeable. Had a beautiful week.

The site we had was perfect and this park is well maintained. The camp host was excellent!!

Perfect location to explore the ONSR

While there were no sightings of the majestic wild horses, we did see river otters. The staff was incredibly helpful when we had vehicle issues. Cell phone service at the campsites is completely gone, which is great for kiddos, as there's no temptation to use a device. Ironically, on the last day I got one bar of service and a flood of messages by the boat ramp. Overall, a great experience.

Campground was quiet. There was no cell service, but service is available if you drive into Eminence. The bathrooms and showers were really nice. The only downside is that the cave was closed.

Site E-1: But I merely had a 10 person tent, box fan, and a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. It was SOOOOOO Quiet!! I loved this place

Very clean park. Stayed in the RV site E1 which was perfect since we faced the woods and not another camper. Showers and restrooms were awesome with plenty of hot water.

Small, but very nice park. We got an electric spot (there are only a few). The walk to the spring was easy and pretty.

Great spot tucked far away enough that it is quiet and peaceful.

The campground needs cell phone service .

The bathrooms seem renovated and was genuinely the cleanest camping bathroom I've ever used. each camp lot has different ground so be careful to make sure you book one with flat ground. I went in March and it was my dog and I, maybe one or two other campsites out of the 30 were being used. Pretty much no one was there so that was really cool.

This site near the Current River was spectacular. Felt secluded and relaxing. A birders paradise. The restroom facilities were clean and top notch. Will definitely be back.

Very nice campground, clean Restrooms and Showers. The Showers were a huge plus, very hot water with high pressure. Not rated is the level of the lot. Why the lots are unlevel like this, i use all my leveling blocks and it was not complyd level.

Campground was clean, quiet and had several amenities. Would definitely camp there again.

We loved the campground but be aware the bath house has a couple huge lights that aim at the "river access" and the "walk in camping". The bathrooms were clean and well marked we really enjoyed our trip and will go back (and camp not in front of that light!) highly recommended and much cheaper than other options in the area.

I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of my stays at the Round Spring campground. It offers the balance of amenities and immersion in nature that I want from a campground, both in-season and out-of-season.

I have never been disappointed with any of the NPS sites. The wild horses coming through camp was a very special experience.

We loved it there. We couldn't find a map but we found a park person who brought us a map to our site the next day. It's too bad the cave was closed, due to prior flooding. Otherwise it was great. We used electricity and the bath house were clean!

We had 5 sites… on sites 2 and 5, the electricity did not work. We ran power cords from adjoining sites… Then we were invaded by Chinese Lady Bugs that bit and stunk! I am still finding them in my truck!! I left two days early!!

Very nice, clean, quiet place. Be going to Round Springs twice a year for the last 6 years. Great place.

Great weekend with friends! Spot was super close to current river. Had nice bathrooms with showers. Did some hiking on the trails. Would highly recommend!

Nice campground, thankful it was the end of October and noone else was around. Nice spot with a tree and some grass.

Everything was Great! The restroom crew came to close the restrooms the 2nd day in the middle of our stay. We were able to talk them into leaving them open one more day until our departure, which they did. We are very appreciative for them to do that! However, they shouldn't have been managed to close them while we were there and paid $150 in the first place!!!

The campsites at Round Springs are excellent for tent camping. I boondocked in a small RV in site #14 but there were some sites that would not have been suitable for any size camper.

Some parts are closed for repairs. Beautiful park. So glad it is still open.

Clean bathrooms and shower house. Peaceful, lots of mature trees! Great river access. The wild horses are a bonus. Need more RV hook ups.

The campsite is one of the best in the area, very easy access to the Big Spring is a plus and of course The Current River

I lucked out getting an electric site in the campground the day prior to arrival. The next three nights I stayed at non-electric #5, enjoying a fully shaded site with nominal insect issues. Upon my arrival the campground host came by & gave me maps of the park and adjacent Ozark Riverway & offered his assistance if needed. At night a short walk on the road to the spring gave an extra special treat of multiple lightning bugs. The individual shower/restroom was well maintained & easily walked to, with a flush toilet nearer the site. I stayed through a busy weekend but the noise level was reasonable. The campground is conveniently in the middle of the Current River's upper section [before it's joined by the Jack's Fork) with close by Carr's Canoe Outfitters, which has an open WIFI 24 hrs/day useful even from their small parking area . Campground cell service is VERY limited. Carr's also has a VERY small shopping space for basic needs. The biggest negative was the frequency of river rafting/kayaking school bus's from the local approved waterways' outfitter on the weekend, especially Saturday, driving by the site BUT the positive is you could make arrangements with them to pick you/family up at your site including all your river experience gear. Oh, other negatives were inability to visit the cave due to the washed out bridge to its entry & unrepaired pavement approach road to the spring's parking area.

Camp was GREAT! Every time we come down we stay at Round Springs! Nice, clean camp RIGHT on the river!

The ace was kept very nice. It was nice and quiet and the host was a very nice guy.

We had an amazing camping trip! The camp site and weather were beautiful! We plan to camp there again in the Fall.

We had a great visit at Round Spring campground. We've been camping there for around 40 years. We are now on the third generation of campers and love sharing the experience. Our campsite was great and located relatively near the upper restrooms. The campground was quiet - even on Saturday evening when we first arrived. That's a bonus for us. The restrooms were very clean.

We love staying at Round Spring, especially the Ranger Talks on Friday and Saturday, which are always fun and informative.
