Robinson Point

Overview

Robinson Point is one of the most popular parks in the central portion of Norfork Lake. The 102 campsites are sprawled across two peninsulas, so waterfront campsites are plentiful.

The hilly lake region is a playground for visitors young and old, with water and land activities galore.

Recreation

Swimming, hiking and all types of boating are favorite pastimes for lake-goers. Coves are ideal for water skiers while the breezy, open areas provide excellent conditions for sailing.

In-season hunting is also popular here.

Facilities

The 25 acres of campground provide many modern conveniences for campers. Sites are equipped with electric hookups and access to flush toilets and showers.

A boat ramp and swim beach offer convenient access to the lake.

Natural Features

Norfork Lake, a 22,000-acre recreation lake, stems from the North Fork River in northern Arkansas. The lake is about 25 miles east of Bull Shoals Lake, and cuts through the Ozark Mountains.

The Ozarks Range, in geological terms, is a heavily eroded plateau. It was shaped and carved by hundreds of streams over several thousand years, creating beautiful rugged terrain.

Nearby Attractions

Head south to the Ozark National Forest to explore 1.2 million acres of protected Ozark terrain.

There, visitors can tour the Blanchard Springs Caverns, a living cave still in the process of formation.

Cancellations up to 2 days before a reservation start date incur a $10.00 cancellation fee.

The campsites were very clean. So close to put in boat or hop aboard. My only concern were the bathrooms. Not well maintained. Beautiful location.

We stayed in Spot 68 and it was great! Right on the water in a little cove. We swam right there and fished there as well. The swimming area was a short walk and so was a bathroom. The showers, however, were a little longer of a distance so we drove to those. Walmart about 10 minutes away was very handy!

Our family took our dad's out for a non-work free weekend for Fathers Day. Everyone enjoyed the neighbors, new friends we met, fishing, swimming, sitting around the night fire and watching the boats and sky's. It was very relaxing and we all hated to go home.

Our stay this year was a completely different experience from our stay last year. Our paved and concrete site was covered in dirt and tree debris. Despite this, I would’ve been happy to clean it had I brought my rake and broom and leaf blower. However, I was expecting it to be clean as it was last year. Space The fireplace was cleaned out, but the picnic table was up against the fireplace, and heavy to move by myself.

the park is wonderful. One of the things that you should do for improvement is, provide puppy sanitation stations. I was in the hospitality industry, and we provided them at our hotel. They are well worth the low cost if you want people to clean up after their dogs.

It was quiet and peaceful. Felt safe. Close to the restroom. Would highly recommend and we are looking forward to our next trip. I went with my partner after having not going camping in years, used to go as a child with my parents, to this exact place and it was nice to get back there and to be able to remember my parents again. However, I didn't catch any fish lol

Very nice park location. We enjoyed being able to choose a tree covered site rather than being exposed to the hot afternoon sun. Water, trash and bathroom were convenient to the site. Would have been perfect except for two maintenance/provisioning issues: 1) the 120v electrical outlets are so old and worn out that the plug for my charger would not stay in the receptacle; we had towels for the shower but as backpackers weren't carrying a bar of bath soap - had expected/needed a body wash/shampoo dispenser or other. (Shower was hot and reasonably clean, so still good experience.) The resident campground host up at the front entrance was wonderfully friendly, helpful, and nice - great start to our stay.

Very nice campground, we were on a concrete pad and had a covered picnic bench. The camp host was very nice and helpful. We were on motorcycles and took rides around the area. The road into the campground is a little worn and warped but that’s not a campground issue. Would definitely come back.

We have had the same awesome park attendant for several years. We just found out she will not be hired back because the Corps parks will be going to volunteers. I am very concerned about our park after this year. There will be little patrolling and parks will not be safe.
