The whole experience was not good. We were unaware that the camp grounds was not attended by anyone until a ranger came around on the second day. The information was not available to us that the dump station was not open before we reserved this site, we found out when we were taking trash off to dump in the dumpster. A ranger came by and we were told to go dump the black water at another camp grounds. That is 15 or more miles down the road. The shower house was clean because a family is keeping them clean and staying there in exchange for that but the shower will not shut off in either side men’s or women’s. They just run all the time and waste water. (It’s probably the reason the dump station stays full all the time). We were told by the family staying at the front gate that they were taking over as attendants but the ranger said that’s not true they just clean the bathrooms for them staying at the campgrounds. The grass was knee high all over the park. The day before we were leaving the ranger came to mow but only mowed some of the camp sites. Never touched ours. My husband finally went home and got our weedeater and ran it to clear a small area for us In The camp sites. The day before we left we were told the dump station is open, this being after they worked on it, so we left out and tried to dump our camper and it started running up out of the holding area onto the ground. Needless to say it was not a good experience. I will not make that mistake ever again. No more camping at Sunlight bay

Good place to camp and fish although seems like they could never get the shower in the men’s bathroom working right because of the hot water. It was way too hot to try to take a shower.

Was lacking some the typical care of the facilities that are seen in most Corp campgrounds.

Campsite was great. Only one shower worked in each of the womens and mens showerhouses, and the handdryer in the womens restroom didn't work.
