Showed up to our reservation and there was a controlled burn going on. Nobody contacted us to let us know. Embers falling everywhere and the whole entire forest/campground on fire. We drove our 40ft 5th wheel, 6 hrs to get here on our journey to our destination. Had to turn and drive another hour to a different location after being exhausted, who the hosts saved our lives and accommodated us quickly. You'd think someone would have contacted us to let us know. Still haven't one been contacted 1 month later. Terrible customer service and would not recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great time staying in this area. Even had enough AT&T service to win a whatnot auction.

The campground is old and mostly primitive sites. You can tell the campground manager is working to improve the camper sites. The bathhouse is old and not super clean but had hot water for my shower. The trail around the lake is serene.

Beautiful spot. Camp host was very nice, friendly and helpful. Wish we planned better and could have stayed a couple days longer
