Directions
From WI-133, Turn East on River Lane (two miles south of Potosi) and follow the directional signs approximately two miles to the campground.
From US-61/WI-35, Turn S on River Lane and follow directional signs to campground.
Stay Limit
Check in from 2 PM, check out by 12 PM.

Great campground, except for very loud trains that were about 100 feet from the campsite. Too loud all day and all night. Unless you want to hear loud trains and the very loud horns, stay away. I gave 5 stars though because the site itself was awesome and the hosts were fantastic. I would definitely come back if there’s ever a train employees strike!

TRAIN LOVER's DREAM! One of the best maintained and prettiest campgrounds within the Army Corps of Engineers system. Clean and well maintained by camp hosts and well visited by supportive Park Rangers, Brent and Brennan. A Great view of the mighty Mississippi and close enough, (but not too close) to Dubuque when the need arises; with adult beverages and ice cream, not far away in Potosi. And yes, there is a train… If you love trains, you will love this place. If you don't love trains, you may still get a kick out of the frequent passing of the locomotives and their freight cars. Also seeing the 3x15 barges plying the river reminds us of aspects of why this is the greatest country EVERRRRR!

The campground was kept up very nicely. The couple working as camp hosts do and excellent job! We had a really nice time there.

The campgrounds was very nice & clean restrooms too. I can't wait to come back again soon. The Host & Hostess was very friendly and helpful.
