We have our family reunion every year on the first weekend of August. I think they need some upgrades, group sites will not accommodate the number of trailers they say it will. Some sites with gravel could be leveled, and lights for the restrooms.

The site was lovely and the views magnificent. The neighbors were another matter. Non stop generators and screaming children. My reason for picking an out of the way campground was to get away from noise, and they couldn't be conscientious of other people.

Map of campground is wrong. We tried to book to campsites together 3 & 5. 3 is at the back with 1 between 3 & 5. This needs corrected.
Also big signs everywhere "no fires" we had no fire but all other sites around us did. No campground host to talk to or to patrol this campground.
Bathrooms got plugged and no plunger or way to clear them. Also no light or sky lights in the bathroom, make sure to take a flashlight even in the middle of the day.

This was a nice quiet campground with only nine spots. We were in site eight, which is further away from the road so I think it was more quiet than those places that were closer to the road. There’s not a good place to turn around at the end of the upper loop if you have a large trailer. Be aware of what they recommend for the maximum length trailer. Our spot was pretty tight for our 19 foot trailer. Some sites do have room for bigger trailers. I would stay here again. It was a nice area.
