Arroyo Seco Campground

Arroyo Seco reopens a month before its anticipated date. On Friday 7/26/24, the Arroyo Seco Day Use area resumed its daily hours of operations. The campground will be first-come, first-serve until the Recreation.gov reservation system is back live September 1, 2024. Additionally access to the Gorge will be restored.
Please continue to take in consideration the heat advisories and plan trips accordingly. Your safety is your responsibility. See the attached link for best practices.
Developed campground, accessible sites; two small lakes in the area. Arroyo Seco River runs by the campground.
Modern campsites allow only one vehicle per single site or two vehicles per double site. Extra vehicles are $10.00 per vehicle and will be paid upon arrival. There are water hydrants throughout the campground and close to all sites. All sites are large enough to accommodate any size RV, however, please be aware that there are no electrical, water, or sewer hook-ups available and there is no dump station on site. All sites have a picnic table, fire ring, and a pedestal barbecue grill. The modern camping area offers paved sites, coin operated showers and flushable toilets, which are handicap accessible.
Single campsite accommodate 6-8 people. Double campsites accommodate 12-16 people.
- Modern Single Campsite - $40 per site, per night, Double Campsite - $70 per site, per night.
Primitive campsites allow only one vehicle per single site or two vehicles per double site. Extra vehicles are $10.00 per vehicle and will be paid upon arrival.
