Every year the staff is very nice to us. We took like 12 of our kids n nephews to the camp. We did have a rattle snake near by but it’s part of the habitat. We only wish the grass near the camps be more chopped down to remove habitat for rattle snakes. Every staff is always busy cleaning even tiny trash from the ground and always helping out people that are camping. We’re back every year 🙏🏽

The campsite is amazing. The enforcement of quiet time is nonexistent. There were multiple groups partying loudly with music on speakers until 3 am, which made it impossible to sleep, especially with sound carrying on the water. During the day, security drives by every hour but it was nowhere to be found at night. We ended up leaving a day early because the noise made it very family unfriendly.

Fun spot!! Great employees!! When we arrived camp spots were not cleaned from previous campers, we found a knife on table & some trash. The entire time we were there we never saw anyone come & clean campsites. This really needs to be done to prevent a dangerous thing from happening. The ropes at the end of the point (to beware of a drop off) are very weak, something better needs to be put up before an accident happens. Doesn't seem like the state of California is putting very much effort into this campground. We do pay money for this campsite, it is not free!!

We had booked a site on the Putah creek side which we did not know was on a very steep hill and access to the lake was overgrown with weeds and star thistle. My wife had knee surgery and getting to the water was going to be a challenge so we asked the staff if there is another site available and they moved us to an overflow parking site next to the ramp. They brought a picnic table over and checked on us a few times to make sure we were comfortable which we were. Thanks again!

60's sites are large, our 35' fifth wheel fit perfect! Just make sure you have all your supplies, no stores close by.

The view from site 88 is totally blocked by the Oleander bushes. We had to prune them so the dog wouldn't eat them. I suggest they remove them since they are not indigenous to the area. Other than that the site had ample space for all of my tents and canopies. The staff is great and deserves a round of applause. It was a busy weekend and they were able to keep the porta-potties clean throughout the day with a smile on their face. I camp here about once a year and always enjoy my stay, this time it was tainted because of the Oleander. But I will be back, just not in that spot.

The campgrounds and site were great. However, the porta-potties and vault toilets were filled to almost overflowing; if it had been hot they’d be reeking. As it was, I almost didn’t use them. Fortunately I was staying only one night.

Love visiting Lake Berryessa, Putah canyon campgrounds is a must during hot summer months. My wife and I enjoy getting a couple campsites with friends and spend the days on the water kayaking or fishing. If you enjoy less noise go during the week. Sometimes we go midweek and have the lake pretty much to ourselves.

Great campground. Lots of space and some great sites by the water. Only cons in my opinion are portable toilets, though they were well serviced. It got a bit loud at some times with other campers but people did respect quiet hours.

since I was 3 years old I would come camping here every year. I have so many good memories with my family.. I get to show my kids some of the things I did with my family when I was young. It’s a great way to spend time with family with no distractions bing able to disconnect from the outside world and feeling free .

BRING POP UPS/ Shade coverage! These campsites are tight and there aren’t a lot of trees for coverage. The lake is great but tents and campers will get hot af. Lake is great except the shoreline is mud so prepare for that. It’s basically clay and will stain and is sticky. Great temperature though for the lack of trees. There is a store for ice and the basics but nothing too crazy. Windy roads like fort Bragg.

The staff was friendly, the water warm and clean, and I was able to find shade under some trees at my spot. Definitely bring a sun shade though because it is brutal during the day. The porta potties were clean for the most part, there was available water nearby. Definitely coming back soon!

Great place! People are super cool. Campground, boat launch, campstove loaners! Forgot our bbq. They have a handful of campstove's they'll loan out to campers, who somehow forget to bring the bbq and campstove! That saved the day! The smaller campsite area, has it's own launch! No crowds here! AND... being able to beach the boat overnight, just steps from our campsite was awesome!! Our favorite place to stay at the lake!

I know we are in nature and there are going to be animals and little critters but there is a difference between nature and infestation. That was unbearable dealing with so many ground squirrels invading our sites. The photos of the sites should be updated. the sites we rented looked well shaded in the photo but when we got there it was a different story sun all day on 118. We ended up leaving early then expected due to conditions

A fairly busy, family positive campground. Lots of big groups and quiet hours aren’t really enforced (had other camps playing loud music and setting off airhorns at 11pm/12am and others starting volleyball games at literally 5am). The lake is beautiful and the campsites are good sized and well maintained. Port-a-potties only, but they’re clean and well kept. Dog friendly and friendly people overall.

Awesome experience. We had a group of 15 and had a wonderful time. I arrived and was requesting specific sites. These sites were not available and I offered an alternative. It was amazing we were waterfront with some shade and flat space. The staff were especially accommodating to all of our requests and made our travels a great experience. This place is amazing, friendly, clean. Cant wait to return:)

Location is great. Launch facility is good. Staff very friendly. Restrooms where we camped were nasty. Thay only clean once a week on Thursday so all the weekend stuff is there. Picnic tables were warped in many places. I feel that the camping is ok but the value is low because of the lack of infrastructure for the price.

Group site was amazing! So much space for all the families and space for kids to run and play. Lake swimming steps sways from our tents was incredible! The reason for the 4 star rating is because there were only portapotties available.
