This group camping site is spectacular. You have numerous lakeside tent sites on one side and a creek with waterfalls on the other. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. It’s easily one of the most beautiful settings. The camp hosts Jean and Luis were wonderful and so helpful!
Some things to note. The water did not work while we were there so we had to bring our water. Make sure to ask if it’s fixed. Also, there is a trail around the lake that goes through the site so there are hikers and fishermen walking through the site on occasion.

No water at the campground, which meant you needed to drive all the way around to the other side where the other campsites were located. It would have been nice if I was told this so I could have brought sufficient water containers for my group.
This also consequently meant that the flush toilets, which typically would have been available were porta-potties. Not what I was expecting.
The camp hosts were AMAZING Luis and his wife were helpful and mentioned other campers had the same issues for over a year.
Some more positives, the campsite itself has amazing views and direct access to the lake.
Other than the water and restroom situation it was a good trip.

I have been coming to this campsite since I was a baby. The campsite and the views did not disappoint. Hopefully, next summer the water and the private bathrooms are back and running! Can't wait for many more summers at this gorgeous campsite!

Perfect location. Bathrooms clean. Parking in a locked gate. Not much of a walk. Great spot on the lake.. Nice areas for for tents.. My only issue was we were not prepared for the elevation. Had to leave early due to severe elevation sickness with 2 people in our group. Plan ahead for medical emergencies. Other than our own problems. Campground was beautiful
