When we arrived at 1:00 there were people in our reserved spot. We asked the host about it, and he said they were supposed to move but that we could pick any other non-reserved spot. We did, but it was just the fact that we had picked that spot and people were in it. As it worked out, all was well with the alternative spot. But that being said, next time I reserve a spot, I sure hope I get it. Camp bathrooms were cleaned every day and having potable water available was nice. However, the bathrooms at the boat docks really need help. weeds growing all around the handicap accessible area and the toilets were almost full. It was a good time, but beware, rattle snakes were out in camp. Keep your eyes open.

This campground is nicely laid out, and the new camp host really cares. It is conveniently located just a couple miles north of the main Ruby Marshes boat ramp. We easily got our 31 foot camper into our quite level spot (lower loop) and out. Definitely want to stay here again.

The place was kept up very well, no trash, nothing broken or damaged. Restrooms were clean. All in all, a most pleasant stay. (Fishing was super, too!)
