North Abutment Day Use

Overview

North Abutment Pavilion is located on the North side of Grenada Lake's dam near North Abutment Campground. This pavilion is especially accommodating for those who want to bank fish while hosting their event. 

Recreation

Recreation opportunities include boat launching, bank fishing and bike riding.

There is a restroom near the pavilion.

Natural Features

North Abutment Pavilion is nestled in a beautiful nook on the North side of the dam. It's main attraction is the beautiful view of Grenada Lake.

Nearby attractions include the Overlook, Old Fort Cannon Area, Lost Bluff Hiking Trail, and The Dogwoods Golf Course at Hugh White State Park.

Fees

Pavilion 500 requires $50 fee to reserve. It is $5.00 if the visitor is wanting to launch a boat during their reservation.

Directions

North Abutment Day Use Area is located on the northern end of Grenada Dam along scenic Highway 333.

Stay Limit

Check in from 8 AM, check out by 10 PM.

Water and electricity were available. The cleaning crews were very nice and kept our pavilion clean.

We hosted an Annual Memorial Service there. It was very nice to be outdoors and use nature as our backdrop. This was the first time we have held the service outdoors but plan to again next year.
