The place was not mowed. The lady ranger was rude, told me that I was blocking a road emergency road. I was not blocking a emergency road the whole site that the road was on was mine site that we reserved. The emergency access road was down from are site. The ranger had no regard to what I was saying. Not to mention she used the road down below from are sites earlier that day. The place had not been sprayed for chiggers and other pests.

The fact that there was only one restroom for all the campers to share was bad but it was also nasty... and it looked like the grass by the boat ramp had been taken care of but not at the end where we had reserved.... if we go back to Fort Gibson lake it will not be in this area.

Aside from the boat ramp, this campground is very quiet and secluded in mid-January. Potable water and vault toilets are the amenities you get which is plenty fair for only $10/ night. 15-20 minutes drive will get you to gas, restaurants, and grocery stores. Modifying your reservation through the app is a bear but aside from that I was happy with my stay.

Beautiful area/campground. Very well maintained. Quiet in the middle of the week at the end of October. Will definitely return if in the area again.

I arrived just after sunset. Other than activity at the boat ramp, it was pretty quiet. Good facilities, tent sites were well kept and easy to navigate. The lake was beautiful! The door handle on the toilet door was broken. Other than that, I have no complaints. I would definitely camp here again.

Very nice location. I wish the fishing and weather had been better but overall we enjoyed our time at the campsite. We will return later in the summer.
