From Cedar City, Utah, take Highway 14 east for 11 miles. Campground is located just below the S turn on your left.

Yes, it's right near the highway. Yes, it is impacted by traffic noise. But somehow, it was still so peaceful. Plus, it gave us great heat-relief from our trips to Zion and Bryce during the recent "heat dome." Such nice cool breezes during the day and an amazing view of the stars/Milky Way at night. Plus, the campground host is so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. (Shout out to David!)

It's too close to a steep part of the highway. To noisy to enjoy why I came there.

The campground is kept clean. Our site, 7, is large and shaded. The RV pads are shallow and not easy to back into.

Other campers were too noisy and disrespectful. No shade at the campsites. We left early because our experience was so poor.

Stayed 2 nights in site 7 with a teardrop trailer. Pad length was accurate at 30 ft, and we were just able to fit into the site with the tow vehicle and trailer. The pad was almost level, so I didn't have any issues leveling the trailer just a bit with the tongue jack. The site was clean and included a fire ring, picnic table, and tent pad. The tent pad was also level. There was ample shade for the trailer to stay cool, and I was able to keep the battery charged with a small solar panel that I moved throughout the day to catch the sun. No issues with mosquitos or ticks even though we were next to the creek with a bit of water flowing in it. The camp host was great and stopped by to say 'hi' after we arrived. The vault toilet was clean and well maintained. There was no water available in the campground, so make sure you bring enough. There was a lot of road noise during the day, but it died down substantially at night so we had no trouble sleeping. Even though the campground was just off of the highway, we felt safe and didn't feel concerned for any theft while we were away from camp for the day at Cedar Breaks. Definitely will be back. No cell service with AT&T in the campground.
